The Game Awards 2022: Complete List of Winners

The best games of the year in gaming were celebrated with The Game Awards 2022, that featured performances by Al Pacino, Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Josef Fares, Ken and Roberta Williams Keegan Michael Key, Jessica Henwick and Aurora as well as performances by Halsey as well as Hozier.

Even though “God of War: Ragnarok” won the most nominations, “Elden Ring” ultimately won the biggest prize for the best game that year along with the top game direction, art direction, and role-playing game. The FromSoftware team’s win was slowed down a bit after a crasher took to the stage to thank “reformed Orthodox Rabbi Bill Clinton.”

Just moments after the end of the ceremony the presenter Geoff Keighley tweeted, “The person who disrupted our most memorable game of the year moment was arrested.”

The ninth annual event was jam-packed with surprises, including the first glimpses of “Star Jedi: Survivor from Star Wars,” “The Super Mario Bros. Movie,” “Street Fighter 6,”” “Final Fantasy XVI,”” “Dune Awakening,”” “TEKKEN 8,”” “Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty” and other.
