Tropical Depression Nine formed overnight Friday in the southeast Caribbean and is now on an upward trajectory to be threatening Florida as a hurricane later this week.

“It’s much too early to predict what’s to come after the end of this weekend, and the time it will take to get towards Southern Gulf.”

According to the center for hurricanes the depression is predicted to transform into an tropical storm over the weekend, and it could be threatening Cuba on Tuesday, forming Hurricane Hermine is which is a Category 2 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 105 mph.
