Jovit Baldivino was the first finalist from “Pilipinas Got Talent” died on Friday December. 9, the day his former manager in Star Magic confirmed.
According to information provided by Baldivino’s parents as well as his fiancee, Jerry Telan said the singer passed away around 4.30 a.m. following being “comatose” during five consecutive days. Baldivino was 29.
According to the post by the Telan’s Instagram profile, Baldivino was rushed to the Jesus of Nazareth Hospital in Batangas on Dec. 3 after experiencing difficulty breathing after an acoustic song
Telan told reporters that prior to his arrest, Baldivino received a recommendation from his physician not to sing since he was “recuperating over the course of a few days on medication to treat hypertension.”
“Then he was an invite from a family member who was from Batangas City…Knowing “Bundoy” (Jovit) was there, he listened to the his fans’ roar. He performed three famous songs, which included Faithfully from Journey. Baldivino was struggling for air when he sang the 3rd track,” said Telan’s blog and added that Baldivino was admitted to hospital that night.
The agent for the artist said that results from Baldivino’s CT scan revealed “a blood clot within the cerebral cortex (sign of aneurysm).”
After having won The Season 1 of Pilipinas Got Talent in 2010, Baldivino released a number of albums. Some of his best-selling songs include “Pusong Bato”” and “Ikay Mahal Pa Rin.”
