Mrs. Sanders is the first Arkansan to address the State of the Union response since Bill Clinton.
Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders of Arkansas gave a scathing critique of Vice President Biden’s State of the Union address on Tuesday, portraying Biden as the president of a weakened administration that has been hijacked by an “radical left” agenda that has resulted in high gas prices and empty shelves of groceries as well as instilling youngsters to “hate one another on account of their race.”
“The Biden administration seems more interested in woke fantasies than the hard reality Americans face every day,” Ms. Sanders said. “Most Americans simply want to live their lives in freedom and peace, but we are under attack in a left-wing culture war we didn’t start and never wanted to fight.”
Mrs. Sanders, who rose to the top of the list as the her press secretary during Trump’s White House. Trump White House, was elected to her first official post in November, and was took office just 28 days after her election.
She was selected to deliver the Republican response by House speaker Kevin McCarthy, and the Senate Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell, both of who declared her to be an ideal model for what is to come for the Republican Party
Mrs. Sanders was the first Arkansan to give a speech in response to State of the Union since 1985 in which Bill Clinton, then a 38-year-old governor, addressed the address of President Reagan. It is also the very first State of the Union response by a newly elected politician since the year 2007 the year that the senator Jim Webb of Virginia gave the speech three weeks following having been sworn into office.
The governor, Ms. Sanders, who campaigned in the last election on the promise of introducing “a new generation of leadership,” was drawn into the stark contrast with her age and Biden. Biden. At the age of 40 she is 40. Sanders is the nation’s youngest governor. Meanwhile, Biden is the oldest president. Biden, 80, is the president with the longest tenure to have been elected in U.S. history.

“It’s time for a new generation to lead,” Ms. Sanders said. “This is our moment.”
Although Ms. Sanders’s speech was designed to smack Biden. Biden, the focus on the aging process and generation was a reference to her former boss Donald J. Trump. In 2017, he was the second-oldest president who was elected and, at the age of 76, he’s trying to win the Republican Party’s presidency for the third time.
The governor. Sanders, who has been mentioned by a few Trump allies as a possible running partner to the president’s former counterpart, hasn’t supported his latest presidential bid. Alexa Henning spokeswoman of Ms. Sanders, said Tuesday that the governor was “focused on Arkansas and was not interested in a run-off.
