Paris Hilton reveals newborn son’s name

Paris Hilton has shared the name of her baby son.

The reality star was on their “This is Paris” podcast this week the reality star claimed the name she gave her son was Phoenix and that neither her mom, Kathy Hilton, or sister, Nicky Hilton Rothschild, was told the name of his son. The day before, Hilton posted the very first image that her child has posted on Instagram.

Hilton and spouse Carter Reum revealed last month that they’d welcomed an infant together through surrogate.

“For now we’ve just been keeping everything really private,” Hilton stated in the show. “Not even my mom or my sister or my best friends – no one knew literally until he was over a week old, so it was really nice just to have that with Carter be our own journey together because I just feel that my life has been so public, and I’ve never really had anything just be mine.”

She explained that the reason for keeping his name from the family of her dear ones was due to the fact that her life has become so open and she was certain the information would eventually be revealed.

“If you tell one person, then they tell someone, and then all of a sudden it’s in TMZ or Page Six,” she explained. “So Carter and I literally made a pact together that we would not tell anyone.”

Hilton She also has an upcoming book titled “Paris: The Memoir,” which she reads aloud from a portion of it. In it, she explains why she and her husband decided to go by to go by the title Phoenix.

“If all goes well, by the time you read this, Carter and I will have a baby boy,” Hilton said. “We plan to name him Phoenix, a name that I decided on years ago when I was searching cities, countries and states on a map looking for something to go with Paris and London.”

She added: “More important, it’s the bird that burns and rises up from the ashes and fly once more. I would like my son to grow in a world where the cycle of triumph and disaster is cyclical and continue to recur throughout our lives , and it should provide us with immense hope for the future.”
