Actor and rapper from ‘Superfly,’ sentenced to 50-years to life in prison for multiple sexual assaults

After being convicted of multiple rapes, a rapper from Los Angeles was sentenced Monday to at least 50 years behind bars.

According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Kaalan Walker (27) was convicted of three counts each of forcible and statutory rape as well as two counts by intoxication.

Walker was charged with the offenses in 2018. He was released on bail and later arrested. However, he was placed on hold after his sentencing.

Police said that the rapper’s victims were models and claimed that Walker reached out via social media to offer them professional help.

Police responded to several stabbing calls Monday morning in Long Beach and are now investigating.

According to City News Service, Walker would lure his victims by telling them that there was a music film shoot or that he would introduce them to a celebrity.

His victims reported that he assaulted them when he was alone with them.

KR was the rapper who released an EP in 2017. He played a gang member for the 2018 movie “Superfly.” Also, he appeared in “Kings,” which starred Halle Berry and Daniel Craig.
