Panic! At The Disco has broken up

The party’s over for Panic! At the Disco.

The frontman of the group, Brendon Urie, announced on Twitter Tuesday that the band will split following shows across Europe as well as the UK in March and February.

Urie added that he’s about to become the father of his child.

“Sometimes a journey must end for a new one to begin,” Urie wrote and added “I am looking forward to the next adventure. In the meantime I will end this chapter of my journey to an end, and place my attention and energy on my family and as a result, Panic! The Disco will be gone. The Disco will be no longer.”

He added: “Thank you all for your unwavering support throughout the years. I’ve tried to think of the best way to express that and I’m unable to describe the significance it has brought to us. No matter if you’ve been around since the beginning , or new to us, it’s been an honor to not just perform with so many amazing people but also to share our time with you.”

The group, which has hit songs such as “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” and “Nine in the Afternoon,” was formed in 2004 and features Urie, Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith and Brent Wilson.

Panic! The final show of At The Disco will be held on March 10 on the 10th of March in Manchester, England.

“I am looking forward to seeing everyone in Europe and the UK for one last run together,” Urie wrote.
